Summertime, and the livin’ is easy - and it is time for vacation! We know people are traveling during the summer, so we are taking a vacation from the weekly "Thank You, Volunteers" inserts. We don’t want any of you missing out on your blessing for your ministry at Unity.

Speaking of vacations, it is tempting to take a vacation from church activities, too -- even when you are in town - when those warm days of summer are calling. But remember that there is still plenty going on at Unity.

We still have Fellowship after every service. And you never know what to expect in the summer! In June we had hot dogs, peanuts and crackerjacks to celebrate the softball team.

We still have beautiful music during both services. You never want to miss that.

We still have chaplains making their monthly calls to hold you in sacred prayer space, and lay ministers praying for you every day and making hospital visits.

We still have ushers and greeters waiting for you at the door with a hug; and the Spiritual Resource Center is still open for your convenience.

We still have the bulletin being prepared for services and the newsletter being addressed for the mail. We still have · someone preparing lovely altar flowers ... special programs and speakers · Sunday school classes · Wednesday night Healing Prayer Service · A Course in Miracles classes · Wednesday meditation · softball games ... whew! I want to spend my vacation at Unity.
