This sentiment is found also on a plaque at Silent Unity in Unity Village, Missouri. Reading this sentiment, remembering this sentiment and LIVING this truth is really our "job description". You have read many times in this article that it is a joy to pray with people, and as I continue to grow in my own prayer life, I can say that it is an ongoing and growing process. If you have had the opportunity to pray with a chaplain after service, I know you felt "connected and loved." If you have not experienced time in prayer with a chaplain, Give Prayer A Chance!!! We welcome the time in joy or in a time where joy is not present. For all of us: Faith, Prayer and following the inner Christ is indeed our job.
